60 Days of Change

I've been part of the 40 being selected for OIP. I can't say that I'm happy for this opportunity, but I'm fortunate. Had it been 60 days ago, that I've been selected, I'd say I would happily agree and go for OIP without second thoughts or any other hesitation. But after going through so much with LOFR, I really cannot bear to have half of my other poly life without them.

You may argue that we still can have lunch, and hang out together and do other stuff. Yeah I agree, but our timetables will clash. AND, 3rd year sem 1 we have intern, 3rd year sem 2 THEY have intern. So the whole of year 3 will have minimal communication with them.

Just the 4/13 of us are probably going into OIP. Yan Qian, Jaslyn, Marcus and Me. I'm really gonna treasure the rest of the current semester together as a whole.

Besides that, I also noticed that the 5 girls, only 4 of them got in. Leaving HZ outside the circle of 40. It seems that there can hardly be a full clique that enters into OIP. Well, my prediction is that in 2.2, HZ will join LOFR gang into the same class, which will result in a group of 13-4+1 = 10 people. What a round number!

LOFR and the 5 girls, these people helped me to learn and grow my character throughout my first year of polytechnic. I've learnt so much especially since I'm one coming out of a boys' school. There were role models to both 'good' and 'bad' characters. Good ones for me to learn the way, bad ones for me to steer clear of where they've gone wrong.

Anyway, an update for my healthy body lifestyle: I've decided to stop the 'cutting' phase at the end of May. 1st June would be the start of my 'building' phase. So there's 3 weeks more. 3 weeks more of morning cardio, or any type of cardio. 3 weeks more of sleeping at 9pm. 3 weeks more of waking at 545am. After these 3 weeks, ALL my cardio will stop, my bedtime will extend to 10pm-1030pm and waking hours would be 630am. I can't wait for June! Birthday month somemore!!

Here's a little quote:

I keep my friends as misers do their treasure, because, of all the things granted us by wisdom, none is greater or better than friendship.
-Pietro Aretino

I love all my friends.
