Time passes so quickly, one week of holiday is already over just like that.
Its Monday, and that means Episode 12 of The Walking Dead is out! So excited to watch it!!
And tomorrow, Cause of Death (iPhone App) will release another episode to play as well. Who says there's nothing to look forward to at the start of the week? :D
I went gym alone today. There was the pros and cons, but overall it was terrible. The only pros were that I concentrated on my workouts throughout, saving heaps of time by going according to my rest in between timings. Since I have all the time in the world during this holiday, this pro didn't count! However the cons was that there wasn't much motivation to push and that no one to talk to between sets. While Sherhong wasn't here, I did squats on her behalf (it doesn't make sense but I just did it anyway for fun). Haven't done squats for about slightly more than half a year now, my squatting weight dropped from 40kg each side to 30kg each side and my legs are achinggggggggg right now. Even climbing the stairs was tough, not to mention sitting down on the toilet bow. Doubt I'm continuing squats unless I'm gymming alone, coz it'll probably take some time and Sherhong values her time very preciously. I'm time-conscious too but this holiday's an exception.
For all y'all time-conscious people out there too, there's a few books called the 4 hour work week, 4 hour body, 4 hour chef. These books actually teaches you that within 4h a week, you can get a lot of profits/ get enough workout for a good body etc. It basically teaches you how to optimize your time, bringing in the greatest value of achievement through minimal time consumption. I remember discussing these books and theories of optimal time usages with Caius back in Year 1, we were totally trying to make the best out of our time, because time is given to us to spend, and if we spend it wisely we could achieve many many many things that we desire. A question was posed to me before, that if you were given $86400 today on the condition that it will all disappear tomorrow, what will you spend it on? And this "$86400" is not money (but time = money afterall) , but in fact the number of seconds we have in a day. So again, with 86400 seconds, what will you spend it on?
A quick update on my Intermittent Fasting method. A week ago I was eating my last meal at about 7pm, sleeping at 11pm, waking up at 9am and go hungry for 2 hours, til 11am before I can have my meal after the 16h of fasting. Right now, I'm eating my last meal at about 7.30pm and sleeping at 2am, but when I wake up at 10am I still gotta fast for about 1.5h while going hungry between the night of 11pm-2am. Its confusing with all words so I'll illustrate it like that:
BEFORE:
7pm: Last meal
(4 hours later, I'm still not hungry and can sleep peacefully)
11pm: sleep
9am: Wake up
(Between 7pm and 11am is 16 hours which I have to fast for. 2 hours of fasting in the morning is no problem!)
11am: EAT FIRST MEAL HAPPILY
NOW:
7.30pm: Last Meal
(The hunger starts at 11pm to 2am, I had to endure the hunger to sleep)
2am: Sleep
10am Wake up
11.30am: EAT EAT EAT
Well, I can sleep on a hungry stomach though, so.. if its not broken, DON'T FIX IT!
