Lets cut straight to the point now. Sally's unhappy with me. She wants to do a brochure tmr(Wed, I have Gym after school) after school for LLM when the LLM's presentation is on Thursday. We had a few months to do LLM Group Assignment 2 which we did most of it in the first few weeks and now, its quite last minute suggestion for a brochure(Actually she saw other groups have brochure then want us to have as well, kiasu ma). In fact, I don't blame her for this. I actually applaud her attitude. This attitude is great, but really it came too late. I like the fact that she cares about the project but time doesn't wait for anyone. I'm not a last minute person so obviously I kinda dread clashes especially at Gym Time. Coz when you're fighting with Gym Time, its usually Gym Time that wins. And in this case, it doesn't differ from the majority of cases(yeah Gym > Work xD)
So how? Of course, I asked for advice. I was given 3 choices. Either rush now, do tmr or postpone my gym. I'm not taking any of this 3 choices. But these choices gave me an idea. The way to win Sally's personality, to shut her up once and for all, would be the strategic element of surprise! To her now, I'm just a snob, nonchalant of whatever is going on. But if I could abruptly come up with a "wow" factor to impress her, she would surely shut it and of course I'll earn her respect. Its better than your normal arguement where you decide who is correct. The truth is that we all are selfish people. She wants me to stay back(she's selfish here). I want to gym(I'm selfish here).
I really can't bear to argue with her. I know my own personality. I wouldn't be affected by her words and actually scoff at her state of mixed emotions. And when I'm not affected at all, she'll get even more angry. Of course you would be appeased when someone you dislike gets frustrated also right? I don't work by emotions, I work by wisdom.
So far the most negative comment about my hair is that I look like ah beng. Well, all I can say is..
