I realised the importance of a gym buddy today.
It was 8am, she said she'll reach at 830. I was gymming alone in that half an hour gap with no determination, no motivation, no power, no mood, until she came and suddenly I had all the willpower to gym and gym!
During the time alone working out, it felt like I was in a black hole, all alone, no 'push' factor for me to proceed and no will to go on any further.
Could it be due to the studies that when a guy gyms with a girl around, his male hormones will be boosted and that he will do better at the gym? Or is it that the fact that doing activities with a friend seems a lot easier and more fun to do? It could be either or both!
But instead of dwelling too much, I just feel that I'm very contented to have her as my gym buddy! It feels terrible at the thought of going to gym without anyone, especially her because we both spur each other on! Even though most of the time I'm doing the encouraging, deep inside I also feel that she's also 'pushing my swing'. Its good to have a friend like that :)
