Should I Work?

Let me start from yesterday. Initially, Caius was supposedly to gym with me yesterday but he suddenly had a doctor appointment because he was ill. However, lunch with our Marist gang still was on at Nex. We went to eat Ramen, while Caius and I ate an extra bowl of fried rice! You can check out the picture at my instagram: hbk2606.

It was a heavy lunch (post workout meal should be heavy) and there was a wedding dinner later on too that night. It was my female cousin's wedding! After the wedding, my mum said that she has caught a BIG FISH! Coz the groom was really financially well to do, with a 4-story terrace, while his mum is paying $200k for their $400k flat (half a lot already sia) and then his father gave the daughter-in-law (my female cousin) a condo. Also, a part of their source of income flows from rental collection from condos/property they own. Seriously a big fish sia!


Well, if my female cousin can catch a big fish, I'll challenge myself to catch a even bigger one! Maybe to my mum, the size of the fish is directly proportionate to the amount of money in the bank. But to me, the size of the fish relates to the happiness and content being achieve by getting together. Anyway I've read somewhere online before that Singaporean girls have high expectations, in terms of:
1. Money
2. Money
3. Money!!

Its all about the money! For example, they want you to have better qualifications. Why? So you can get a better job to earn MORE MONEY. They want you to have a nice car, if not at least a car, which means money too because COE is so friggin' expensive. These are some of the examples only, nowonder so many Singaporean men go for FL. FL = Foreign Lady. I've been visiting forums recently and came across a new term called "FL". And in these forums, FL refers to Foreign Lady which also refers to paid sensual experience from these foreign ladies. I saw a guy posted on forum asking "Whats the difference between prostitution and FL?" and there were many funny comments. Oh anyway to answer the forum's question here just for knowledge, prostitution is more of an 'official job' where they actually got test for HIV all these and go through some protocols to make it safe. While FL is like a.. "private prostitution", is like a Filipino in your school offering you piaking (Piaking is another term I've learnt in forums which means to have sex). Somemore FL can be costly til $500 while Geylang can be just $50. See, even the foreign talent also beat Singaporeans in this kind of industry somemore.


Oh anyway talking about scandalous stuff.. After the wedding, there was a little girl with my cousins. My mum told us that the girl was actually the bride's sister.. half a sister. They have the same father but different mother. The bride's mother was my mum's close sister while the little girl's mother ran away, abandoning the child and so the bride's mum took care of her. The father still lives with the bride's mum. There are A LOT of this kinda BAD stuff happening in my mother's side of the family tree, very confusing and also very disgraceful. WTH why the father unmarry then go for another woman then got child the woman don't want, but the father yet still lives with the divorced wife. ?!?!?!?!! I'm confused too but I don't ask at all, although I want to know but I guess I just don't dare to ask to trigger any digraceful answers.


Okay okay lets talk about the happier things during the wedding, I anyhow jump story one sia xD.
So I sat with my sister and my cousins with any parents around at the same table. Wa lao my sister anyhow say me "He everyday eat the what protein powder ah" etc etc. Then my cousin laugh at me. But I admit I count my calories, they say I siao, but I'm a hardworking individual and I'm proud of it!

I also met a chubby little boy, 11 years old who is also my cousin. He's sorta also into magic and cards. He showed others his card trick already so I was thinking how impressive he is. He then showed the trick to me and I'm like *CLAP CLAP* not bad not bad. While in my mind I was like.. "... He's terrible, I need to teach him and correct his ways of error". So within the short span of 5min (he had to go back to his seat) I tried to give him as many tips and tried to teach him something new. But of course, being me, I just had to show off a few tricks and stunts to make his jaws open widely impressed, hehehehe. Oh and after the wedding my mum told me that the boy wants to learn magic from me by visiting our house, my mum said her mind's reaction was like.. "Another little boy in the house? Nonononono".  LOLOL


Okay.. so today, being a Monday, I headed to a CCA meeting this afternoon. Had a lot of insights and we discussed about e2i Club's future and plans. Benny (the president and founder of the CCA) had a lot of connections. He also have connections to the IT helpdesk director, who then connected me with one of the managers for a job. The manager was not in charge of hiring students but will help to refer me to the one in charge and hopefully tell me the outcome by tomorrow. I'm afraid to work because of the commitments, although the job scope is pretty slack at $6.50 an hour, from 830am to 530pm (I think), just sit there wait for people to help them install software or help with their problems. But they mentioned something about students undergoing training so I'm still not too sure where this will be headed but I'll work something out when they reply me tomorrow. I'm a flexible flexible man :D
